Sales reach the register one to two months after they complete, so the latest weeks always look quiet. Some sales are left out, such as right-to-buy sales and transfers that aren’t sales. “Other” covers sales the register doesn’t class as a house or flat, often shops, offices or land sold with a building.

Each area is a circle round its middle, the same as on its MeBabber page, so neighbouring areas can share some sales. The middle price is the median: half the homes sold for more and half for less, so one very dear sale doesn’t drag it about the way an average would.
